Clean Water Saves Lives (CWSL), a 501 C (3) nonprofit foundation organized on
December 20, 2004, and was approved on October 28, 2005, with an official start date of April 1, 2005.
The CWSL Foundation is dedicated to providing clean drinking water in areas of need by assisting
with shallow water well projects, sanitation training, driller training and donation of some drilling supplies.
The organization has been funded primarily by ourselves, however we
hope to enlist volunteers, who wish to donate time, equipment, and/or money to help save the lives, and improve
living conditions of some of the 10 to 15 million people who die yearly from unclean water. Along
with donated and purchased water well drilling, well decontamination supplies, and well sealing equipment, we
are now helping to provide very portable, shallow water well drilling machines, and making them available for
use in poor, remote areas, in need of clean water.
Update*** We got organized, and built a small inventory
of good used drilling equipment, and supplies, and have been re-donating the machines to other charitable organizations. We have donated four used drills, strings of drill pipe, trailer mounted welder, compressors,
bits, subs, tools, labor, and helped other charities with the purchase and repairs of several other drills. We are still looking for inexpensive or free used drilling rigs and equipment, to replace those machines
that have been sent out recently. Organizations that we have helped recently are: Agua
Ministries, working in Mexico Seeds of Hope International Partners, working in Zambia Furagua Mocambique, working
in Mozambique We look forward to working with other groups and individuals,
who are working in this very important field.
